Certificated Teacher Application Process
The district continuously accepts applications for all teaching positions.
Applicant must hold or be eligible for an Alaska teaching certificate with
appropriate endorsement.
A completed Southwest Region School District application for professional
employment, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and Alaska teacher
certification are combined to create a complete teacher application. Application
packets for teaching positions are available from the Personnel Office,
