Bonus Criteria Addendum
1997-98

PRINCIPALS

Bonus P1: $4,000
Superintendent’s Goal: A. 90% of all K2 students will achieve 80% of Bank Zero Language Arts

B. 90% of all 1st grade students will achieve 100% of Bank Zero Language Arts

90% of all 1st grade students will achieve 80% of Bank One Language Arts

C. 90% of all 2nd grade students will achieve 100% of Bank One Language Arts

90% of all 2nd grade students will achieve 80% of Bank Two Language Arts

D. 90% of all 3rd grade students will achieve 100% of Bank Two Language Arts

90% of all 3rd grade students will achieve 80% of Bank Three Language Arts

E. 90% of all 4th grade students will achieve 100% of Bank Three Language Arts

90% of all 4th grade students will achieve 80% of Bank Four Language Arts

F. 90% of all K2 students will achieve 80% of Bank Zero Math

G. 90% of all 1st grade students will achieve 100% of Bank Zero Math

90% of all 1st grade students will achieve 80% of Bank One Math

H. 90% of all 2nd grade students will achieve 100% of Bank One Math

90% of all 2nd grade students will achieve 80% of Bank Two Math

I. 90% of all 3rd grade students will achieve 100% of Bank Two Math

90% of all 3rd grade students will achieve 80% of Bank Three Math

J. 90% of all 4th grade students will achieve 100% of Bank Three Math

90% of all 4th grade students will achieve 80% of Bank Four Math

If less than 20 students are in any of the grade levels specified, the goal would be reached if not more than two (2) student in that grade failed to achieve 80%. Only students enrolled prior to October 1, of the school year will be used in calculating the achievement of this goal.

A proportional bonus per section (ie: A-J = 10 therefore $4000/10 = $400) can be earned by achieving section A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, or J;.

Bonus P2: $3,000

Program Implementation: A. The District’s K-8 CRT program will be fully implemented with 100% of the K-8 students enrolled prior to January 31, of the school year. Fully implemented will mean student portfolios in place and actively used (maintained to show student growth and used in parent conferences) by all teachers.

B. The principal will ensure that all high school teachers complete and submit an integrated, instructional project plan for each trimester. Collaboratively developed plans will be received by the Director of Secondary Instruction not later than 19 school days after the first day of each trimester. All plans will contain all elements specified by the Director and contained in the planning template distributed to all teachers.

A bonus of $1500 for either section can be earned by achieving section A or B.

Bonus P3: $2,000

Parent Involvement: A. As agreed upon between the Principal and Superintendent, and subsequently approved by the CSC. When this goal is presented to the Superintendent, the written proposal shall include an explanation of how the goal will enhance the school program, the current level of performance, the performance level targeted for accomplishment, and how it will be measured.

B. At the annual OTE school evaluation, the CSC will rate the academic programs and student performance as adequate or substantially improved from the preceding year.

A bonus of $1000 for either section can be earned by achieving either section A or B.

Bonus P4: $2,000

Career Readiness: 100% of all 7-12 grade students will have developed and will maintain current career exploration, planning, and readiness portfolios.

Only students enrolled prior to January 31, of the school year will be used in calculating the achievement of this goal. $1,000 of this bonus can be earned if the indicated criteria are met with 80% of the students. P4 will be adjusted for the Aleknagik principal.

Bonus P5: $2,000

Responsibility Level: As agreed upon between the Principal and Superintendent and subsequently approved by the CSC. When this goal is presented to the Superintendent, the written proposal shall include the identification of the specific District student outcome, an explanation of how the goal will enhance the school program, the current level of performance, the performance level targeted for accomplishment, and how it will be measured.

Bonus P6: $1,000

Site OTE: As selected as part of the school’s evaluation and planning and agreed upon between the Principal and Superintendent and subsequently approved by the CSC. When this goal is presented to the Superintendent, the written proposal shall include the identification of the specific District student outcome, an explanation of how the goal will enhance the school program, the current level of performance, the performance level targeted for accomplishment, and how it will be measured.

  DIRECTORS

Bonus D1: Up to $7,000

Site Support: Directors will be awarded 10% of the total bonuses awarded to principals.

Bonus D2: $2,000

Program Specific: As selected and agreed upon between the director and superintendent.

Bonus D3: $1,000

Program Specific: As selected and agreed upon between the director and superintendent.
 
 

COORDINATOR/ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS

Bonus C1: Up to $3,500

Site Support: Coordinators/Assistant Principals, each will be awarded 5% of the total bonuses awarded to principals.

Bonus C2: $1,500
