This unit is organized so that children will first learn about fruit bats and what they eat. Then they will look at the anatomy of a
       bat and find ways that the bat's body is similar to their own. They will also have a chance to learn more bat facts and choose
       some to share with the class. Finally, they will have a chance to read other children's poems and stories about bats.
